Starting in July and through most of September, this is a main hatch for the Silver Creek waters. The Callibaetis mayfly emerges in slow moving water sections of Silver Creek, primarily in the ponds. Callibaetis take the longest to hatch out of all the mayflies, making them more vulnerable to fish throughout the emergence. They tend to hatch throughout the middle of the day, between 11a and 4p on warm, sunny days.
